Pinhole Finale

The diffrence between my positive and negative is that the lighter parts became dark and the light parts became dark.  When we changed our picture to a positive the picture fliped and now the objects are on the opposite side of each other. Another diffrence between these two images is that the the negative was brighter and the positive became a darker image.

Photography . noting an image in which the brightness values of the subject are reproduced so that the lightest areas are shown as the darkest.

Composition 9/11

Simplicity.
This picture is using simplicity because it is focussing on the people in the picture and it does not focus in the background because it is foggy and it goes out of focus. This is also a good picture because their is no other objects that makes us loss contact of what the people are doing.

The Rule of Thirds.
This is a great picture of The Rule of Thirds because the person can be aywhere in the picture and it shows us the walk path that the person can walk at.

Lines.
This is a great picture of lines because the lines go diagnal it may not seem like that but they are going in that direction. This picture is also perfect because they are not simple lines just going straight but are kind of slanted. I like this picture b ecause it dosent show the lines the same the top are burned and then at the bottom it shows how the fire is moving down.

Balance.
I chose this picture for balance because the firefighters are not just standing their but they are making a geometrical shape that adds strong visual to the picture. This is also a great picture because the picture focusses in the firefighters and the background just blends in.

Framing
I think this is a great picture for framing because the main focus of the picture is surrounded by another object that blends in. It helps us focus the on the image in the back because of the black surrounding of the image.

Avoiding Mergers

This is a great picture of Avoiding Merges because the building is not blending in with another object that has the same color so it dosen't loss focus. I also chose this picture because their are three diffrent colors in this picture and you can easily look at the objects in the picture.

The Camera.

Diaphragm- to reduce the aperture of (a lens, camera, etc.) by means of a diaphragm.

Electromagnetic spectrum- the entire range of wavelengths or frequencies of electromagnetic radiation extending from gamma rays to the longest radio waves and including visible light.

Parallax-an apparent change in the position of an object resulting from a change in position of the observer.

Pentaprism- a five-sided prism that deviates light from any direction through an angle of 90°, typically used in single-lens reflex cameras between lens and viewfinder to present the image the right way round.

aperture-  A usually adjustable opening in an optical instrument, such as a microscope, a camera, or a telescope, that limits the amount of light passing through a lens or onto a mirror.

shutter- Photography . a mechanical device for opening and closing the aperture of a camera lens to expose film or the like.

exposure-  the act of presenting a photosensitive surface to rays of light.

depth of field- the range of distances along the axis of an optical instrument, usually a camera lens, through which an object will produce a relatively distinct image.

F-stop- the setting of an adjustable lens aperture, as indicated by an f number.

focal length- the distance from a focal point of a lens or mirror to the corresponding principal plane.

Pinhole Pictures

I chose this picture because the photographer took a good view, and it looks so pretty. Their is no action in this picture, everything in this picture looks all calm and peaceful thats what makes it pretty. The thing that focus more on is the rocks and part of the building.
I really didnt like this picture because you cant tell what its trying to focus on. You can tell that their was going to be some action in the picture because of the blur or something. The thing i focused on when i saw this picture was the white blur and the lword "nate."
