Japanese Earthquake.
They used the rule of thirds in this picture.
In this picture they used leading lines.
This image was using avoiding mergers.
When i look at the pictures i posted and other ones in different websites the things i see are disaster and sadness. You can also tell that the people are devastated and they don't know what is going to happened next. When see what happened to these people i feel sad and would want to help them out in some way. I also feel bad for the little children that have to experience this horrible event that happened in their homes. I feel blessed that these kinds of thing don't happend in Austin.
Touching People.
1. What do you think about this project and photo essay?
I think that this would be a cool project to do. It would be interesting to see what people come up on there way of touching a stranger.
2. What would you do if someone approached you with a camera and asked you to participate in a photo shoot and then asked you to touch a stranger?

3. Think of an unusual photo shoot similar to this one that you think would be fun to go and shoot.
I would ask people to make funny poses with strangers and act all goofy.
4. Finally, tell me what you thought of the photography, did the photographer think about the rules of photography that you know about? What types of photos did he take?
I think the photography was great and that the pictures were taking in great places. This photographer used simplicity in his pictures. The backgrounds where also good they didn't distract us from looking at the people.

Cool Advertising Idea.

I like this image because the coral in the image looks so realistic and pretty. The background color also makes the coral and fish stand out.
Would this influence you to buy an AT&T phone? why or why not?
If i saw this on tv or some where else this would not inflence me in buying an AT&T phone. I mean the advertisment they are doing doesnt have nothing to do with the phone.

Portrait and self-portrait tips and ideas.
- Think about your motivation and emotions: Blankly staring at the camera rarely gets good results. Be silly, don’t be afraid to over-act. The worst that can happen is that you fill up your memory card with useless photos; but you might also find yourself with a proper gold-nugget of a self portrait.
- Use a tripod. Seriously. While it’s possible to get good photos while you’re hanging on to your camera at arms-length, it’s a lot easier if you've got the freedom to move around a bit.
- Have fun with it. Be sexy. Be yourself. Be awesome. Be different. Be creative. Whatever you do, have fun with it. That’s part of the point, after all.
Environmental

I chose this picture because its a good example of self portrait it only focuses on the kid in the image. I also chose it because it follows the rule of thirds and you have one object showing in the other half of the image.
I also chose this image as a environmental self portrait because you focus on the person in this photo. I like this image because of the background and how the trees in the back show a little depth.
Photography Self-Portrait

I chose this image because even with the camera close to her face you can tell who she is and what parts are behind the camera. I also chose this image as self portrait because you focus on her and not on the background.

I think this is another great picture of self portrait because we can tell that they took the picture by them self. This is also a good self-portrait because its cropped and you can still tell who this person is with out needing to see his hole body.
Casual Portrait

This is a good example of Casual Portrait because you focus on the child and you can see depth in the background of this image.

This is another great example of a casual portrait because you can tell in what kind of place they are but it doesn't focus on the background. I also chose this image because it looks pretty how they came out and the setting they chose.
I took pictures of me in the courtyard of Akins H.S and after that i went to take some pictures of my friends. When i took my pictures i tried to do some close ups and show some background but not to much so it will not lose focus. Then when i went to take some pictures of my friends i tried to do the same thing but in a different setting so not all the pictures would come out the same. I used the hallways of Akins H.S and the courtyard to take my self-portrait pictures.
Magazine Cover Notes.
Cover types
1. Early magazine covers
2. The poster cover
3. Pictures Married to Type
4. In the forest of words
What makes a forest of words?
Their is a lot of words, fonts are different, lots of colors.
The words distract us from the image and we don't see the full picture.
Pictures Married to Type.
Less color and text. Most words are on one side. The text is involved in the pictures.
Can be a little boring and not as many interest points.
Poster Cover
Small words and a picture. Set of words talk about the image. The photo has to be good so
they will buy the magazine and catch the persons interest.
Early Magazine Covers
No photo. Mostly paintings big color spots. No date line and price tag. The magazine tended to be more simple. Topics were church related and evil.
Stuff that should be on my magazine cover.
-Tittle
-Photograph
-Bar code
-Price
-Date line

Welcome back!!!!
I like this picture because of the colors there is and just how beautiful it looks and all high-def!
I also chose this image because it looked interesting and unique, you could see space and our planet all together in just one image.

I like this picture because of the reflection shown of the crowed and how you can see a lot of bright colors it really shows the spirit of the people cheering their team.
Well my favorite song for 2010 was love like woe by The Ready Set. When i first heard the song i was like ugh here goes Justin Bieber in the radio again. Then i kept on listening to it and i knew it wasn't him so i decided to google the song to check it out a little better. When i saw the video i fell in love with the song and ever since I'm always listening to the song i even have it as my ringtone. The thing that got me to the song was the music video because it is just so interesting and i like the lyrics that the singer uses in the song.
2. What was the best movie of 2010?
The best movie that i have seen is Salt because their is a lot of action in the movie and that's what i like about movies. I also like this movie because Angelina Jolie comes out and i think all the movies that she does are great. I liked how she would do some of the moves she did and just how great of a spy she was.
3. What was the most important news story of the year?
In Baghdad veterinarians and police have killed 58,000 stray dogs in and out the Iraqi capital in over the past three months. The government had released on Saturday that 20 teams have moving around Baghdad to find stray dogs and kill them. People kill the stray dogs by poisoning them or just shooting them. This is why i chose this event as an important one because I'm a pet lover and its scary to know how these stray dogs are being killed.
In the 2010 Time 100 Poll lady gaga came to be the number one of the most important persons of 2010. Lady Gaga's music is well composed and greatly contagious if you like to dance then she is one of the singers you would like to listen to. On 2010 lady gaga has won two Grammys but lady gaga is not so much about music. She didn't become famous by wearing all her crazy and weird head wear. Lady Gaga is famous because she was obsessed with fame this is why she has two albums with the word fame on them.
1. Tell me what is the one thing that happened on your holiday that you will remember? It can be a trip, a family visit, a present, something fun.
For this winter break i wont forget my Christmas with my family. This year we actually spent time at home with lots of gifts. I was so excited when i got a new camera, Nintendo wii, cell phone, and a nook. I think that this Christmas is going to be something to always remember and appreciate that i got to live it.
2. What are your resolutions for the 2011 year?
My resolutions for 2011 is to be able to pass all my classes to i can be a junior and be with all my friends. Another one was to try to find a job so i can get money and be able to buy my own car.
3. What are you looking forward to in 2011?
For this new year I'm looking forward to having a good time with my friends and spend more time involved in school so i will be able to graduate with all my friends. I also want to be able to go visit my family from Georgia because i haven't been over their in like 10 years.
